For the sixteenth year in a row Miles for Merry Miracles volunteers will help familes facing economic pressures deal with the choice between paying for rent/utilities/food or buying warm winter clothing and Christmas presents. In a typical year, we put new clothes and toys under the tree for about 400 local children who usually might go without Christmas gifts.
Anonymous donors like you have helped us to adopt over nearly 7000 of these little “angels” over the last 15 years in an expanding Christmas tradition that makes the season more rewarding for the gift giver and happier for the receiver.
This year, please consider taking a few more angels "off the tree".

Join us on December 9th from 10 a.m. till 6 p.m. at the Grant Line Road Wal-Mart in New Albany for our Elf-Inspired Angel Tree Shopping Spree to shop for your Salvation Army Angel Tree child, child in the Ky Refugee Ministry program.
Flash mob caroling, scavenger hunts, dedicated shopping lanes, tax free shopping and special discounts along and fun prizes complete with elf gear and snacks make this a shopping spree like no other.
Don't forget to come in your funnest Elf-Like costumes, Ugly Sweaters, Christmas pajamas, M4MM shirt,etc ...and be sure to decorate your shopping cart to win prizes.
Youth volunteers have been taught and will be encouraged to create a budget and to make wise purchasing decisions for their angels.
Package drop off available all day if you choose to shop at Kohls, Target or other local/online stores.
